It’s best used to convert your monitor from an indented 75mm x 75mm hole pattern on the back of your monitor to an achievable connection to your monitor mount/ arm.
Sometimes, the VESA hole pattern on the back of your monitor is placed indented, making some setups difficult to achieve. Most mounting arms usually have a space greater than the VESA hole pattern indented on the back of the monitor causing an issue mounting your monitor.
